A sampling of things I've done over the summer

This is a recent sketchbook figure drawing I did in Greg Newbold's class. Her leg is a little long, and I started to fix it, but I decided I liked it. She was a tall sporty model. The ballerina sketch at the bottom is a doodle, I thought it would be strange to see her legs popping up if I cropped her out.

My mom wanted an abstract painting, and I'd never really done anything like that. So this was my attempt. I think it turned out cool, and if not cool, colorful!

My dad took these to his office, so they got framed. A lot smaller then you'd expect huh? Both were done on printer paper. But the best part is they have names now! Pete and Repete!

Escape the Circus...with FIRE!

This is my final for Joe's class. The theme was a grisly end. Originally I was going to have them running away, but my circus freak felt like the kind of person that would be calmly riding away on a circus bear riding a tricycle.

My parasitic twin

This is my last assignment for Joe Olson's class. We were supposed to draw something that was pretty awkward, and that made me think of carnival freak shows. So obviously I was drawn to Siamese twins...

Tea Pot of Magic!

Work in progress

The beginning is still keyframes, and I just noticed that her food disappears in the last drawing.

Bull Dog Finished!

I'm happy with how this turned out. I've smoothed him out a bit more since this picture was taken, but I like him.
